Terms of Service

CommsTechie is a job board connecting UCC and Pro AV engineers with employers. Contact: hello@commstechie.com.

You must be at least 16 years old to use CommsTechie. Recruiters must use a valid company email — personal email providers (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.) are not accepted for recruiter accounts.

• Provide accurate information and keep your password secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• One account per person. Do not impersonate others.

You agree not to:

• Post fake, misleading, or speculative job listings.
• Scrape, harvest, or resell engineer profiles or contact details.
• Send unsolicited messages, spam, or recruiter blasts.
• Upload malware, illegal content, or content that infringes others' rights.
• Attempt to bypass security controls or rate limits.

We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

• All postings are manually reviewed before going live.
• You warrant that each posting is for a genuine open role.
• You are responsible for compliance with applicable employment and equal-opportunity laws.
• We may decline or remove any listing at our discretion.

• By applying, you authorise us to share your application (name, email, resume, cover note) with the recruiter for that role.
• CommsTechie is not the employer and does not guarantee responses, interviews, or offers.

You retain ownership of your profile, resume, and any content you submit. You grant CommsTechie a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and process this content solely to operate the service.

Some listings may be marked as "Featured". Featured placement is an editorial or commercial arrangement and is clearly labelled.

Browsing and applying for jobs is free for candidates. Job posting is currently free for recruiters; we may introduce fees in the future with prior notice.

You may delete your account at any time via the dashboard's Privacy & Data section. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not verify the accuracy of every job posting or applicant claim. Use professional judgement when applying or hiring.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CommsTechie is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, or employment outcomes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
